2026 World Cup Index Launches on Fluxion

The World Cup is back.
Every four years, the world’s biggest sporting event captures the attention of billions of people. From the opening match to the final whistle, the tournament creates a constantly evolving global consensus shaped by every goal, every upset, and every historic moment.

Today, we are introducing the first season of the 2026 World Cup Index, featuring the Euro-American Win Probability Index Campaign.
Rather than focusing on individual teams, the campaign introduces two Index Tokens that allow participants to express their view on the broader direction of the tournament:
Euro Index
America Index
Euro Index represents the collective performance and title prospects of European teams.
America Index represents the collective performance and title prospects of teams from North and South America.
As the tournament progresses and market participation evolves, the relative value of these two indexes will continuously change through trading activity and liquidity provision. Participants are not required to pick a single champion. Instead, they can gain exposure to a broader segment of the tournament through the indexes themselves.
01 Community-First Distribution
One of the core principles of the 2026 World Cup Index is simple:
The initial distribution of all Index Tokens comes entirely from community participation.
There are no presales, no allocations, and no privileged access.
Participants earn Mint Quotas by contributing to the Fluxion ecosystem and can later use those quotas to mint Index Tokens.
Every Index Token entering circulation begins with real participation.
Users can earn Mint Quotas through trading, liquidity provision, community engagement, and World Cup-related activities.

Qualification Phase

Users complete campaign tasks and earn Mint Quotas.
Genesis Mint
June 10 4:00PM(UTC) – June 11 7:00PM(UTC), 2026
The first mint window opens during around 1 day before the World Cup kicks off.
During Genesis Mint:
Euro Index : America Index = 1 : 1
Reminder:
Mint Quotas are earned through participation.
Mint Quotas are non-transferable.
The amount of Index Tokens received per quota unit is determined during mint windows and may vary based on live market conditions.
Session 1 — Group Stage
June 11 – June 27, 2026
During the group stage:
Trading opens
Liquidity provision opens
Campaign tasks remain active(See details on Fluxion's guild.xyz)
Users may continue earning Mint Quotas while actively participating in the market.
Session 2 — Final Mint Window
June 27 – June 28, 2026
Following the conclusion of the group stage, a second mint window will open for qualified participants.
Unlike Genesis Mint, mint ratios will no longer be fixed.
The amount of Euro Index and America Index received will be determined by the live pool ratio at the time of minting.
This means identical Mint Quotas may produce different amounts of Index Tokens depending on market conditions.
Knockout Stage
June 28 – July 19, 2026
Once the knockout stage begins, all mint windows close.
Participants may continue to:

Provide Liquidity
Throughout the knockout stage, Fluxion may distribute additional Index Token airdrops to active traders and liquidity providers based on participation.
Trading & Liquidity
The campaign introduces a dedicated market for:
Euro Index / America Index
Participants are free to trade, provide liquidity, and adjust their positions throughout the tournament.
As the World Cup evolves, the market evolves with it.
